Acoustics as Emotions is acoustic patterns that are specific to particular emotions and therefore enable recognition of emotion in speech. These acoustic properties are measured by formant analysis, spectral analysis, intonation scoring, and inverse filtering of the speech signal to arrive at an estimate of the glottal waveform.
