Sensory Interaction

Sensory interaction refers to the interaction of the senses to each other and how they influence each other. Taste and smell are two senses that work together. Food tastes more bland when a person has a stuffy nose and can’t smell it properly. Some senses even overrule others if the information seems contradictory. For instance, if someone hears speaking but the sounds of the speaking do not match the movements of the speaker’s lips, the person will pay more attention to what they see. Vision dominates all the other senses.
